This was the last interview I had with Joe about his "Christmas in My Heart series", which began in the early 1990s (as did our annual interview). The next lay he suffered a catastrophic fall which led to a life-altering brain injury. Joe is better and still with us as of Christmas 2020, but the series has retired after 29 volumes. They are still in print , however!
