As a guy who grew up on the Florida East Coast in Daytona Beach, I appreciate that the closest place for us in Alabama to go to the beach is found in the Panhandle. Hardy Jackson writes from pleasant experience about the famous (and infamous) pal es on the "Redneck Riveria", the Gulf coast of northwest Florida and Alabama.
